Empowering 100 Tourism Entrepreneurs – State-Level Training Programme for Homestay, Serviced Villa, and Farm stay Operators

1. To educate participants on the classification, registration, and compliance requirements for homestays and serviced villas.
2. To build confidence among new entrepreneurs to start legally recognized and sustainable ventures.
3. To equip participants with digital marketing and branding skills to promote their properties effectively.
4. To strengthen the Kerala HATS network and promote collaboration between entrepreneurs and tourism institutions.

Objectives:

This state-level one-day training programme for 100 entrepreneurs will strengthen the grassroots of Kerala’s homestay and farmstay sector by combining legal awareness, entrepreneurial motivation, and digital marketing capability.
With the Kerala Homestay and Tourism Society (Kerala HATS) providing expert faculty and coordination, the programme aligns with the State’s Responsible Tourism mission and will significantly enhance rural livelihood opportunities and quality tourism experiences across Kerala.
